Mark Schramer joined the CHS Elburn Board in September of 1979. He is currently Director and previously served as Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. He started farming in 1978 and has since lived on his farm in Maple Park with his wife, Linda. They have a cattle business, Farm Direct Black Angus, which markets 100% hormone free Angus beef.
Mark and Linda have four children: Bradley, a farmer, Melissa, a Trainer at Kaneland High School, Allison, who works in fashion design in New York City, and Natalie, who plans to attend Veterinary School at University of Illinois in the fall. Mark and Linda are also active members of St. Peter and Paul Church in Virgil.
